Singapore has been thrown into a state of alarm following reports of simultaneous explosions at several telecommunications facilities and television and radio broadcast towers earlier this morning.
Witnesses in multiple locations described hearing loud blasts and seeing smoke rising from elevated infrastructure sites. Emergency services are currently responding, though official statements have yet to be released.
